Claude With Hands

Most people use Claude the same way they use a search engine, ask it something, read the answer, close the tab.

That's one way to use it. It's not the interesting way.

The interesting way is when Claude stops generating text for you to act on and starts acting itself.

The Typewriter Problem

When you use Claude in a browser, it has no reach. It can't see your inbox. It doesn't know your calendar exists. It can't update a record, send a message, or book a meeting. It can write you a reply, but you still have to copy it, open your email, paste it, and hit send.

That's Claude as a typewriter. Useful. But you're still the one doing the work.

The gap between "Claude wrote it" and "it got done" is where most of your time still lives.

What Changes When Claude Has Access

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the technical layer that lets Claude connect to real systems. It's how you give Claude a set of tools it can actually use: read this inbox, check this calendar, update this record, send this message.

When that connection is built, the workflow changes completely.

Instead of: Claude drafts a reply, you copy it, you open email, you paste it, you send it, you get: Claude reads the message, drafts the reply in your voice, and sends it. You get a notification that it happened.

The same shift applies to booking. Instead of Claude telling you there's a slot available on Tuesday, Claude books Tuesday, sends the invite, and confirms with the prospect.

The output is the same. The work you did is different. Specifically: none.

Private by Default

The integrations we build aren't shared tools. They're private servers deployed specifically for one person or one business. Your credentials, your tools, your Claude. No one else has access.

From the user's side, it looks like a custom connector in the claude.ai sidebar. They open it once. After that, Claude just knows what it can do, and does it when asked.

The technical complexity lives on our side of the build. The experience on their side is: Claude handles it.

What This Unlocks

Once Claude has hands, the question shifts from "what can Claude help me write?" to "what do I want Claude to handle?"

Those are very different questions. The first is about assistance. The second is about delegation.

The businesses that figure out the second question first are going to be very hard to catch.
